Excellent gay subtext, needed more Jack though.
There were definitely some plot holes in the episode, but I actually really liked it. Unpopular opinion: the filler episodes are the best ones. When I go back and rewatch individual episode, I always like the fillers the best and while big recurring villains are needed to tie the whole series together (and the Easter eggs like bad wolf and torch wood in the rtd era were *chefs kiss*) I like just seeing the characters hanging out and beating the weekly baddies. So even if this felt like a filler, I’m happy. Also. JACK HARKNESS. I LOVE HIM IM SO HAPPY.
And Ryan and Graham’s ending was just perfect. No trauma, just a bittersweet goodbye and deciding to be a family on Earth. They needed a phone tho, like Martha so they could ring the doctor over for tea. I like to imagine they hang out with Martha and Torchwood. Speaking of which, when can we get Martha again? Is there a petition I can sign??
Also when jack mentioned Rose???? Yes. Just yes.
