so i was googling to see if the genital option you pick in character creation has any effect on the game itself (it doesnt) and the answer I got was on Reddit. and the threads were all like 3 years old so I'm putting my thoughts here instead

almost all the answers on these threads said something to the effect of "no, you degenerate weirdo, if you want porn in your games go play porn games" and that just. bugs me. gets my goat. rustles my jimmies. because there are DEFINITELY ways that the genital choice could be used in the game without actively showing it in the sex scenes (though, we see Alt's pussy in the flashback scene with Johnny, and the character screen shows it every time you take your pants off, but whatever. the weird notion that you can only have sex scenes with no dicks is another post altogether.) here are some EXAMPLES:

I haven't gotten any romance sex scenes yet (bc I'm gay and they put Kerry way at the end) but on the most basic level they could use it to determine if you're on top or on bottom with the joytoys. I know not all trans people would like that one though

Johnny talks about his cock all the time, he could definitely make a comment about being in your body being weird if you don't have one

I guess if you do have a cock he could make a joke comparing you or something but I admit I have thought less about Dick Dialogue

If your genitals and Body Type/Voice Choice don't "match" you could have a dialogue option about it with Claire when she mentions her transition
