prague: what is your favourite season?
autumn. winter is too long, too cold, too bitter. i can deal with two months, but after that i look up at the swedish skies and wonder why oh why this frozen inferno? summer is Too Much and as much as i love the sun and the freedom and the lazy mornings, i am too weak for the mosquito swarms. and sometimes even the heat waves. spring is nice, but it has always felt too wet and unreliable to me. like i know summer will come eventually, but the waiting and indecisiveness of it all makes me jittery. it’s also around the time of exams [nervous bitter strangled laughter] i choose autumn because i can count on it. and everything about it feels like relief. the heat goes away slowly (and so does incessant sweating), you can wear those jackets you’ve been excited to wear, it’s time for comfortable boots and cable-knit sweaters. people bring back the pumpkin spice latte meme and kill it in time for all the halloween memes. halloween!!!!!! autumn with its birth and death, the start of school, the falling of leaves. it’s like anticipation and resignation at the same time. like acceptance comes along with it no matter how hard you’d like to resist.
madrid: describe your aesthetic.
i’ve got this one multiple times so i’m just going to use one of those random generators weehooo // urban garbage. haha i won’t argue with that
mumbai: what is your favourite scent?
lemongrass, melting chocolate, curry simmering, paprika and ginger and garlic and rosemary and basil, cookies baking in the oven, lavender body wash, pomegranate cremes, strawberries, coffee, earl grey tea, all books, stationery shops, ocean waves, forests in the spring and probably loads more that i’m missing
