Dropping a lil something from my working Jack O'Connell x black!reader fic.

WHO IS READER?

You are a young black woman, originally an alternative MUA but since specialised in SFX, particularly in blood and gore. You work on set everyday, long hours each day and night. Spanning half a day or half a night depending on when a scene is being shot and the level of prosthesis needed.

When you found out about this gig, you were beyond excited — to create monsters, and not just any generic horror monsters but BLACK monsters. It was all your dreams coming true. Not only that, you were going to be working as a specialist for the whole cast while being responsible for creating the main villain's entire aesthetic. When you were briefed, you found out who the main actors were much to your added glee. Michael B Jordan and two of him, apparently! You’d be sure to get an autograph off of him before this ended.

Then came the concept and visual plan for the villain, a vampire called Remmick played by Jack O’Connell — an actor you weren’t familiar with. You’d only seen a headshot of Jack back then and thought he looked charming and genuine, the kind of white boy you’d had crushes on.

OK. BUT THIS LOOK HAS BEEN RENT FREE IN MY HEAD SINCE HE WORE THE BIRTHDAY LONG SLEEVE 😍😍😍
