You know
My biggest issue with Jack isn’t that he’s manipulative or selfish or a red flag or whatever
It’s that he thinks he has all the right to be
And everyone else seems to think so too!
I mean look at Top, Ray or even Boston
When any one of them acted in similar ways as Jack people recognized that what they did was wrong
Even they themselves recognized that what they did was wrong
Similarly with Mew, who was the most reasonable character up until Top gave him a reason to not be
Even then people where like ”you are 100 % right to be mad just don’t destroy for yourself and everyone else because of it”
Meanwhile with Jack it’s like he thinks everything is everyone else’s fault except for his
Whenever he’s being unreasonable, problematic, unprofessional or in other ways toxic it’s always because of someone or something else
What makes it even worse is that everyone around him (except for Rome) seems to think he has the right to act that way
Even when it goes out over the play
Even when it makes everyone uncomfortable
Even when he was the one who did wrong in the first place
I honestly don’t understand why people keep wanting to work with him
Why his friends keep wanting to hang out with him
Or why Dean and Raffy (though not anymore) keep wanting to date him
As the king, Rome, said himself
”What’s so great about Jack anyway?”
Jack is SUCH a manipulator. He sees Dean 'acting up' and he immediately goes for more physical affection than he's been doing lately to placate him and use his feelings to get him to act like Jack wants him to (doesn't work, dean knows his man). Loses Dean's support and goes back to taking advantage of Raffy's obvious feelings for him to get support from him at least (works, raffy doesnt know that man like dean does). I adore his wicked, terrible ways💞✨️
there are absolutely times when a director can't get through to an actor, but being like, "because i didn't see a ~look~ in your eyes we're going to just stop rehearsal" for a theater production that's presumably on a proscenium stage in a space large enough that only the first couple rows can see the actor's eyes in detail is such poor directing i can't
Starting to realize why Rome and Dean are friends. They are both attracted to the same red flags. They both deserve better

It's genuinely interesting to me when I interpret something one way and then the text explicitly contradicts me.
I assumed Raffy knew Jack was using him to get over/get back at Dean and was going along with it because he wanted Jack that badly and willing to take whatever he could get, not that Raffy thought Jack was into him too.
last week, jack stopped rehearsal because raffy didn't display enough love in his eyes but this week jack refuses to stop rehearsal after his costume designer storms on stage to accuse the leads, their boyfriends, of cheating? make it make sense.
oh hey, they let jack keep his glasses all series
