character in general: i love mariya belyaeva. let the record show that i love mariya belyaeva. i love their name, i love their mannerisms, i love their speech patterns (IT’S SO DISTANCED AND POETIC AND SMOOTH SOMEHOW) i love the way she and kat managed to become friends organically (despite the fact that jay and i are like AH YES.
