“No,” Your hip shifted, trying to not disrupt him further, but still trying to find ease in the new grip around the recovering portion of your back. “Didn’t mean to wake you up-”

“Oh,” His eyes went from cracks to full moons, realizing from the frowning of your lips, and the movement within his grip of your person, “I’m so sorry, sweetheart.” And just as easily the strain dissipated, as his arms softened, and moved to rub shadows along the curve of your spine. “I was hurting you; I’m sorry, love.”

Your head shook to brush away his worries, as your leg shifted between the gap of his own two. Pushing yourself up onto an elbow, fresh eyes took into account the small mess your fingers made in the forest his hair, “It’s no big deal,” As lips curled from the imagery of tangled brown locks, you reached to soothe it back into place, “Besides I woke you up playing with your hair, so we’re even.”

“Mm,” Hoseok’s head craned towards you, freeing the access your fingers had to rub.  The low groan riverated against your barely exposed collarbone, as his nose nestled into the sanctuary of skin peeking out from your loose t-shirt. “That feels good.” Rosy.

Newly burning lips smiled wider, enjoying the close proximity of Hoseok’s lazy actions against your person. A continuous sauntering of your fingertips continued along the paths atop his head, fueling the smallest of sighs against your throat. Your torso melded back against the complimentary curve of Hoseok, whom relaxed the bundle of you both back into the cushioning below.

“You’re comfy.” Thoughts slipped, bouncing from the pillows to float in the air. As your lips tightened as a means to hinder any other from escaping, Hoseok’s grew ajar chuckling vibrations against the knot forming in your vocal chords. “I mean, you are-”

“You’re so cute,” His words mused a tickle against your neck, brushing and it felt similar to a kiss-- similar.

Tugging off, you immediately winced from the miniscule jerk. Shadowing hands soothed the spots he already knew to be giving you the most trouble, lightness in his eyes altering into the idea of a frown,

“Don’t move so suddenly, baby.”

“You,” Stifling back a breath, a response of your hand straying to press a thumb against the side of his lips occured. “Don’t.”

If it weren’t for the eruption of red on your face, Hoseok would’ve been more confused of your actions. But instead, he noted the flush, the slightest pinch against the corner of his forming smile, and your own lips pouting.

“Baby-”

“Hobi.”

“You’re adorable.” Your eyes averted from his grin, trying to ignore the awakened state that surely meant to tease you. “Just me calling you baby, huh?”

“Not just that,” Hoseok’s fingertips played with your sides, randomly pressing digits in a soothing manner. “I mean, all of this.” The curvature of his lips, dwindled. You could see the loss of a flash in his irises, and dragged your thumb along his cheek, ending the trip to tug barely on the baby hairs along his hairline, “I like it a lot, Hobi.

A chest released of air, relieved through a sigh. A returning smile.

“Don’t scare me like that.” Your growing smirk, had his fingers pinching your waist, eliciting a giggle to escape the detangled knot in your neck. “Come back down now,” His syllables dragged along, whining despite grain still existent in his tone. Obliging with the gentle pull, your head found the thrum of his heartbeat once more. “I like this a lot too, love.”

“Not baby?” Your eyes followed the escape of a single laugh, and felt the protective constriction of his arms around your waist-- still gentle, still knowing when to stop. He glanced to your playful gaze, swiping its position by means of his fingertips now pinching the bloom of your cheek,
