How would the ROs react if every time they meet up with civilian MC they are always late and would give them different excuses when in reality MC was held back by super hero stuff

this is a great question because itâs definitely something that pops up in the story!
i imagine aguilera would be instantly suspicious. especially if something big has happened in the city that the police have got to know about, the cogs in their brain would instantly start turning. unless the cover-up is super convincing and theyâre given probable cause to believe otherwise, the suspicion would stay.
nian would be similarly suspicious, but thatâs only when sheâs not involved in the same matter as well. if she was involved in the same superhero business as MC sheâd be trying her hardest to dole out convincing excuses as well lmfaoo
jo would be annoyed at first, because their time is getting wasted as they wait. depending on how good the excuse is, theyâre surprisingly the most likely to accept it as is and simply chalk it up to MC just not being a punctual person. if the excuse isnât too good theyâd assume MC was hiding something but not really want to probe into it deeper
vinny at first would also just assume that MC isnât punctual, but as time goes on heâd start to get suspicious too. i imagine heâd be in denial about it for a long time though, especially if heâs close with MC, and before he makes a conclusion heâd attempt to gather as much evidence as possible so that he doesnât falsely accuse or make ill-thought assumptions
arya would be worried at first, especially if MC normally used to be on time. theyâd be concerned that MC is going through something really bad. they wouldnât assume that itâs related to superhero stuff at first, theyâd be more concerned that something was wrong with MCâs personal life that theyâre struggling with
