Song 29 - Turn the Lights Off by Tally Hall

This song is 100% a Nick song. It has it's vibes and also some of the lines just fit so well with his character! Also ya know, its about monsters in the dark and wanting to be them lol ;)

It also fits for Hermie though, just the chaos in the lyrics. Hermie figuring out he's, well, what he is fits so well!

5. What’s your favorite intro bit (non musical)

Episode 51: An Escape Plan For That starts with this AMAZING action trailer narrated by Glenn, and I love it to death. I'm always so happy when every dad has a role in the intro, and it's just so funny. Also a big fan of Link's recent self-made heist movie sequence <3

11. Are there any phrases from the podcast that you quote regularly?

Ugh, all the time. "Well, well, well" in 12 soccer player voices sadly has become part of my vocabulary, as well as Henry's "What the H-E-double-hocky-sticks?!" I also do impressions of Beth doing Jodie Foster (the actress) impressions, which yes, is weird.

13. What arc is your favorite?

This one regularly changes. I'm currently relistening to the Glenn/Jodie arc, which is influencing my decision by a lot, but it is definitely one of the most fun arcs imo, with some of the best individual episodes (SWAP, book castle, etc)

16. What moment would you play for your friends to convince them to listen to the show?

Remember when we stayed up to watch the fantasy high finale? Wished we could have done that for the Amphibia finale (or All In). I missed you so, so much after watching the second to last episode - first and last time I'll ever admit that. Gotta pretend to be cool, hehe.

3: favorite line/scene you wrote this year

Gods I have a lot of these!! One of my favorite moments is still the confontation between Sasha and Grime in atobaoi - I like the subtle reminder of their relationship in canon, while also showing how she is a completely different person.

“Gonna have to do better than that, old man.”

His eyes darted around, searching for an escape. Not finding one, he nodded with something resembling respect. “You fight with the fury of a toad.”

She chuckled.

“Nah. I fight with my own fury.”

And she punched him in the face.

Marcy marcymarcymacry. That girl.... both an enigma and me. That baby can fit so much angst potential.

25: a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read

The 'the pieces of you' series by @themissakat! These two fics did what I would never dare and have left me a changed person. Missa uses her words to paint a scenario both beautiful and horrifying, and I can not reccommend it to you enough. Be warned: the violence is graphic and the pain is real.
