As a born and bred #nismilan gal, I take my gulai lomak cili api very seriously.  It has to have a certain consistency to its taste, texture and appearance. The gravy must be thick enough, 'podeh' and a smooth gravy (my mother would literally roll in her grave if the gravy 'pecah', as in clumps). Two weeks back, I stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant somewhere in Kampung Bukit Temiang, Seremban. Not an easy location to find but I assure you, the journey there is a breeze, especially if you know your way around Seremban Lake Gardens. I must say that I was pleased and content with the quality of the food served. I had #masaklemakcilipai telur itik (duck eggs), sambal sotong (squid), terung (brinjal) balado and ulam-ulaman (salad). ...and they also served lovely desserts. The dessert table is like a mini homage of the dessert runway in @sugarrush_desserts. I'd definitely revisit this restaurant soon. Note: During my visit, there was a guy who was writing on a piece for the restaurant. He wanted to take photos of my friend and I. We had to decline as we were literally in our PJs. So, dress well when you do make your way here.
