12 March 2022. Farah or TiFar (a name dearly coined by @shirshierasaid, short form of Aunty Farah), is my aunt by blood and my friend by choice. We basically grew up together and you are that childhood friend that is connected to me by the hip. We had our ups and downs but at the very core of it, we love each other dearly. We didn't talk or see each other much after you got married but we're always in touch, one way or another. We had our somewhat long conversation last year when your father passed. Times were hard, with the pandemic and you were recovering from a major operation which left you bedridden then. I'm glad that I got to celebrate your 36th birthday. When I look back at all the photos of us together, I'm just happy that we had that. I am also happy that you found love, a loving extended family and an adorable son. I should have been a better friend, but it is what it is and that's just how our story unfolded. I want everyone to remember you as the kind and bright you, that we all know and love. You will be sorely and deeply missed. Al-fatihah.
