The Kadesh Lineage
I am introducing a few more characters that are a part of the Kadesh family during Izeera’s life. I’m making them available to interact with, including roleplays, asks, and ask memes directed towards them! Feel free to ask them questions, or request to RP with them. Their posts will be tagged with their names. Here are the members you can now interact with:
Del’avi Kadesh-Amal ~ 4E 138 to 4E 210 ~ Sister of Izeera, ambassador of Hammerfell. Paralyzed from the waist down after an accident, but makes her no less intimidating. Resides in Hegathe, Hammerfell.
Jelani Kadesh-Amal ~ 4E 165 to 4E 232 ~ Son of Del’avi, inherits his mothers position and eventually becomes a Lord of southern Hammerfell. Currently though, he is often either found in Hegathe or Petrahrk with a certain someone. [ ghartokpadhome’s Tobias Serano ]
Rezza Kadesh-Amal ~ 4E 170 to 4E 249 ~ Daughter of Del’avi, officially titled a “diplomatic hired blade” for Hegathe and Gilane under her mother Del’avi, and eventually her brother Jelani. Trained by an ex member of the Morag Tong. She can be found in various parts of Hammerfell or in Morrowind aiding Drelethyn Serano within House Redoran.
Cinder and Fur
Rezza slumped against the sandstone wall, heaving and trying not to crumble beneath her shaky legs. A shout echoed through the market a few buildings away. Profanities in Yoku bounced off of the food stalls as confused murmurs became louder over the already bustling crowd.
Keeping to what shadows were available in the afternoon glow, Rezza slinked further into the alleyway to make her escape. Out of the corner of her eye, a flash of white whirred by among the scurrying crowds. When she looked again, eyes squinting against the dust carrying in from the street, nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary. She jumped as a shout rang down her hiding spot, closer than before. Whatever she had seen was unimportant, and she fumbled down the rest of the alleyway. Her treasure, heart thumping against her chest, was tucked carefully into her scarf. Mission nearly complete.
🤗⏰💔 for Izeera!
🤗Are they physically affectionate?
If by ‘physically affectionate, you mean of course, ‘getting shoved very roughly’ then yes. In reality though, Izeera is not affectionate with people outside of her inner circle at all. Her niece and nephew she makes exceptions for, all while wearing a grumpy expression. With her sister and Drelethyn, she gives her affections more freely. (With the latter it is usually disguised as something else more aggressive though.)
⏰How long do their relationships tend to last?
To call Izeera’s interactions ‘relationships’ is somewhat odd. Before the war, and during her soldier-training years, she had on-and-off trysts with one or two girls, but eventually became too invested in becoming a leader. As for her very last not-relationship with a certain Dunmer, well. That one lasted from her time as a captain until death overtook them both. Her track record is nothing to envy, to say the least.
💔Do they have a certain type of person they will not enter into a relationship with?
At first glance, she has little interest in political types. On the contrary though, she admires people who are witty and intelligent, since she herself is lacking in that area. A total turn off would be someone clueless and naive, perhaps with a lack of justified or understandable morals.
the scarlet war I | izeera
Hammerfell was usually grayer in the winter months, but it never became particularly cold this far south. It was notoriously brisk near Elinhir with the mountain ranges being foreignly cold to most desert-born Redguards. Rezza remembered her aunt speaking of the strange air of the north and east when she was a child. It was the best small talk she could manage, being generally uninterested in discussing politics, weather, or anything that wasn’t worthwhile to her. Even if she did not like it, Izeera was able to put meaning behind it. Rezza recalled the first time she felt the ‘strange, cool air’ when she was sixteen years old. The storytelling aspect was not there, but the emotions that flowed through Izeera’s words pulled her enough that when she finally experienced it, it was exactly as described.
In that moment, the salted ocean breeze, a few miles off, brushed through her wild hair, and Rezza couldn’t stop herself from crying.

✿ Appearance
“He’s tall.”
☼ Personality
“Fine, I suppose. What else do I need to say?”
✉ Intelligence
“Very intelligent. I don’t trust him.”
✘ Secrets
“I don’t understand how he works, or what keeps him going. Drelethyn has explained some of it to me, as if I was supposed to be impressed. I’m not.”
The Lovers, The Hermit, Judgement, The Lovers in Reverse, Judgement in Reverse, The World in Reverse (distributed among your muses however you please~)
The Lovers: Which of your character’s relationships has been the most positive? (Romantic or otherwise)
For Izeera, absolutely the relationship with her sister. Without Del’avi, it would have made surviving with an absent father much more difficult. It could be strained at times because of their very different walks of life, but overall Del’avi is the person she cherishes most.
The Hermit: Write about a time your character did some soul searching. What did they find?
When Del’avi first lost the use of her legs, it was absolutely devastating. As mentioned above, they relied on both of them having a solid scavenging system to earn coin while their father was away for months at a time on fishing vessels. On top of not having a solid income, she lost her ability to walk. She couldn’t go places with her sister, she couldn’t help around the house as she did before, she couldn’t be the primary protector.
A lot of time was spent at home, alone, while Izeera joined the local garrison. She read constantly to occupy her mind, desperate to do something. Anything. Eventually she continued to read all sorts of political material, and started helping with the authorities in their paperwork and treaties. There, she finally found her natural talent: persuading people.
Judgment: Has your character ever been given a second chance?
Continuing on Del’avi’s story, being able to succeed as a politician was an absolute second chance to her. She was always passionate, and now she could turn it into something that could move the way the world worked.
The Lovers in Reverse: When has your character experienced heartbreak?
The long years Drelethyn was gone, possibly dead, were troubling for Izeera. The not knowing made it drag out, but she never quite figured out why it bothered her so much.
Judgment in Reverse: When has your character found it difficult to forgive themselves?
Before Jelani was assassinated, getting the news his sister Rezza was captured in the dungeons of some far away place gutted him. I do not think he had enough time to forgive himself completely, as he was killed before her and they were never reunited. His mother had died trusting him to make the right decisions, and he knew that sending her on that was the right one, but a part of him felt it was the wrong one.
The World in Reverse: What is your character holding back?
Izeera: Stubborness
Del’avi: Disability
Rezza: Cynicism
Jelani: Fear
🌚 for Izeera
🌚 - Their thoughts late at night
A boy, she read with a smile.
The missive had come somewhat late in the evening, Izeera’s commanding officer accepting it only because good news from home never hurt, or so the messenger said. Morale was low among the young recruits, though they had taken to listening to Izeera rather than the lieutenant. It inspired them to see a young soldier taking charge when they fell to new obstacles every day.
She didn’t care either way, so long as the bastards killing villagers were put down. The lieutenant didn’t like like it, but he knew denying her something now would hurt later on with the way they flocked to her.
Izeera held the folded parchment against her chest, allowing herself a small smile. Pulling the blankets over her, she thought on the news from her sister.
A boy. His name is Jelani, and I wish for you to meet him soon.
