Izari the goblin rogue. A friend, and also practically my second character, of one of my d&d groups.
I finished this piece a couple months ago, but kept wanting to give it a background. I've decided I won't at least not for a while and may as well post.
Also apologies if the image descriptions are hard to understand or switch left and right (I'm not great at writing and really bad with left vs right). I am open to any feedback.
I fell in love with iZari faster than I fell in love with Zari 1.0.
Maybe it’s best I already loved that perfect face, or maybe it’s the fact that even though on the outside she seems so superficial, she is really a smart business woman who’s ideas get brushed off by her family in favor of whatever her brother is doing?

I figured I'd take this opportunity to nerd about my DND character, Izari, as the campaign she's in recently picked up again.
Most of the time, Izari is ditzy, sarcastic, and a bit of an idiot with some very odd quirks. Namely her refusal to spend any money at all without a very difficult persuasion check, and the fact that she will choose to sleep in a tree or on the floor over an actual bed. Most of the time, it seems laughable that she's actually the wisest member of the party because she's constantly dicking with her partner in crime, Silaree.
But the moment Silaree is even vaguely threatened, the bubbly dummy goes away and Izari is perfectly ready to kill anyone who would hurt her. She's also the go-to tracker and has a wealth of information available to her when it comes to surviving in the wild because of how she was raised. In our most recent session, Izari actually seemed to play the role of team leader which is weird because when I initially created her, I never imagined she'd have any leadership qualities. She was meant to be more of a follower. But with where the party is right now, Izari is the most suited to lead because of her skill and knowledge.
Ofc under different circumstances, like in a city, she'd probably default to one of the other party members who are more experienced with civilisation than she is. Considering that we're headed to a big city once this particular adventure wraps up, we'll see how the party roles shift - I'm really looking forward to it ^^
Sali said something she shouldn't have to Izari, and she angered her :(

i apologise for the background, but tbh it’s more than I’ve done before sooooo XD and ignore the bow, I just refused to fix it.
I was watching some of @thedustyleaves‘ art streams back and they gave me an itch to draw and actually put this thing called effort in for once. So I chose one of my favourite occurrences in mine, @andauril and @feyriane‘s dnd campaign: Charades.
Charades occurs whenever everyone has to figure out what our mute cleric, Bronn, is trying to convey because no one in our party knows sign language except for Sali ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ shame on everyone else.
Izari always rolls astronomically badly on her insight checks for charades (our solution for playing on discord because it turns out that not being able to see each other makes charades much harder), which leads to some hilarious-for-us-but-frustrating-for-Bronn moments, including this moment where Bronn was offering to use magic to help Izari track some kobolds, and she thought he was telling her that kobolds are religious.
(I had no idea if they were at the time. Turns out they kind of are XD)
bonus:
Izari and the Enraged Floating Head
Innkeeper: *is rude*
Adam: bitch
Ping and Pong: Bitch
Izari: BITCH
so it seems the Dice Gods have decided two things about Izari. 1) she will always roll badly in charades, and 2) she will always roll spectacularly well at drinking
