just watching the selection announcement and press conference for the wc. im so glad to see my captain <3 back her bowlers man its so good to see that especially after the SA series where it didnt go well. the bowlers are 70% of the reason a team wins what a team wins and the ind team bowling department has proven time and time again that they are one of the most adaptable and diverse bowling group. they take all the pressure and they have been delivering consistently. i think we can give the benefit of the doubt to this type of a bowling department for one series. the question about bowlers being inexperienced (?) tf was that. deepti is literally the light of our lives as iwct fans. radha is playing her 5TH T20 WORLD CUP. renuka is the best person in the world oh and also the highest wicket taker in england the most favorable to english pitches plus has played int he team since her debut consistently ( minus the 2025 8 month injury recovery). arundhati is our savior in all situations and kranti and charni are newer but they have taken such a huge tool off the veteran bowlers as soon as they came in the squad in 2025. the critics about the bowlers are fair in the recent performance context but only taking that performance and forming opinions about this bowling attack for the wc it stupid and im glad harry shut it down <333

Guys we need to talk about the lack of fanfics about the Indian Women's Cricket team and while Slash fics are great.. I need to sob to some found family Harmanpreet and Mithali angst with happy ending fic with Harman can't believe that they are through to the finals in 2025 WC and calling Mithali to help her (shameless self-promo but I wrote smth like this: https://archiveofourown.org/works/78864516 ) or like maybe Smriti, Harman and Deepti just cuddling together after the WC win because they can't believe that they have won this WC (also with a sprinkle of angst while they remember 2017 finals, because they were there) or maybe Smriti, Harman and Deepti with Jhulan (two shot, first chapter is the promise in 2022 and second chapter is after the win the WC) or maybe Kranti Goud and Shree Charani finding hope in each other in the England tour because they are so afraid before their first International match and need someone who will understand, or maybe something with Pratika and Shafali just before (or after) the finals.. or how Deepti felt when Harman decided to defend her Mankand against England (and maybe some some light hurt/comfort thrown in there) or maybe some character explorations. There is literally so much potential
