shit, i know! it’s gonna fuck him up so bad when he realizes it? i also have this hc that luci and his dad had a falling out cause they’re like. just way too similar.

She is very much a woman who doesn't believe in fate/finds meaning in carving her own path just like Lucifer. If she found out he was not only the Devil but that she was made specifically "for" him, would she question everything like he's been? What does that mean for the family she's built? Her career? Everything she is? Suddenly the weight of that 'miracle' title would be thrust upon her and I think it'd be SUCH a powerful storyline to have her and Lucifer both coming to terms with it. I just think as brutal as it was to see Luci's reaction, it would be really interesting to see it from her perspective, since it, well, is ABOUT her. I trust the writers will definitely do that at some point, but I'm itching for that gap to close and for her to finally not be on the outskirts of the supernatural plots (as are most people, I'm sure). I need my empowered Chloe Decker reconciling choice and destiny storyline. NEED IT. Anyhow, sorry for the length! I have a lot of feelings. ;)

And also yes?! Like, I think obviously the story/narrative/POV has been focused on Lucifer’s reaction to this, because he’s the main character and his reactions are what is currently driving the story, but Chloe’s reaction is going to be just as important (and because they have built up the pressure on Lucifer to tell her the truth/reveal his face, and everything she doesn’t know about who Charlotte really is and what happened with Uriel and the deal with God and... everything?) Like, I said in one of my earlier answers that they came to the place of being ready for a relationship, but without knowing the most important thing about the other. Lucifer has to struggle with the miracle business. Chloe has to struggle with the Devil business. She wants to date Lucifer Morningstar, her trusted work partner and eccentric dorky sweet friend. That’s not the same thing as Chloe wants to date/be the actual soulmate of the Devil Himself, when her existence was personally ensured by God Almighty as a divine miracle. She can’t accept that because she still has no idea it even exists, and doesn’t believe in it.

So yes??? Give me all the angsty meaty storylines with Chloe struggling with it too??? She loves Lucifer, just like he loves her, but again, both of them need to accept this HUGE thing about each other, and deal with this shattering cosmic truth, before they can actually fully reconcile and be ready for each other, and I love that they have set them up to undergo this struggle at the same time in mirror/reflections of each other??? (Aka they are such soulmates I wanna weep.) Chloe can’t understand why Lucifer was angry/upset until she knows the truth, THE WHOLE TRUTH, and... yeah, that’s a LOT to swallow.

That's been my guess as well. Maybe God "put her in his path" in the sense of making her immune/having her being born so they could meet, but not for the explicit purpose or endgoal being to love him (necessarily). I like to think of it as a 'Alright, I've set all the pieces up, but it's up to you and her on how you choose to play the game'. God put the possibility there but didn't directly influence it. That was all them. Or how I choose to see it until we get an answer

          Jordan, a holdover from his Army days. If it’s a school day then Lydia will wake up next.

         Peter, he’s the cook of the three and he refuses to let anyone in the kitchen to actually cook.
