How to Upgrade Multiple Vehicle Devices in IVMS Efficiently
Managing firmware updates for fleet devices doesn’t have to be complicated. IVMS provides a streamlined way to upload, assign, and monitor batch upgrades. Here’s how to do it properly.
Step 1: Access the Batch Upgrade Menu
Log in to IVMS.
Locate your vehicle in the device panel.
Right-click and choose Batch Upgrade.
This opens the upgrade management dashboard.
Step 2: Import the Upgrade File
Click Upload File.
Browse and select your firmware or MCU package.
Confirm the file type.
Click OK to complete the upload.
After uploading, the file will be available for deployment.
Step 3: Deploy the Firmware to Devices
Use Search to find the uploaded file.
Select the correct version.
Click Device Upgrade.
Choose the target vehicles.
Confirm to create the upgrade task.
A confirmation message will indicate the task has been successfully scheduled.
Step 4: Check Upgrade Progress
Open Task List.
View task details including:
Device online status
Upgrade status
Task creation time
Execution results
This allows administrators to monitor progress and quickly identify any issues.
