Warning: getting up to watch the sunrise is highly addictive.
My second time walking these big bastard hills at 5 am in less than a week.

Pitstone Windmill... by Gary Lewinson Via Flickr: Pitstone Windmill is a Grade II* listed windmill in England. It is thought to have been built in the early 17th century, and stands in the northeastern corner of a large field near the parish boundary of Ivinghoe and Pitstone in Buckinghamshire.
Canon EOS 250D | 67mm | 1/200s | f/14 | ISO 100 Taken on 01/09/2020. With their undulating hills, chalk downland, dense beech woodland, dry valleys, pastoral and arable fields dotted with picturesque villages representing a bygone England, flint cottages and ancient churches, the Chilterns are one of the loveliest areas in the UK to explore—and more than deservedly designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Although barely 30 miles from London, the Chilterns are sparsely populated and little visited, making them a wonderful area for a short walking holiday. They're also nowhere near as touristy as the Peak District or the Cotswolds, so you really feel like you've got away from it all! Many parts of this unbelievably underrated part of England will be recognisable as film locations for TV classics such as Midsomer Murders (Inspector Barnaby). From there you can follow the Icknield Way Trail and take in sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. ______________________________________ #Ivinghoe #LeightonBuzzard #Bedfordshire #NatGeoLandscape #LandscapePhotography #TravelEngland #VisitEngland #ExploreBritain #InstaTraveller #InstaBritain #WanderLust #TheGlobeWanderer #TheGreatOutdoors #MadeInBritain #ScenicBritain #HiddenGem #ScenicLocations #EnglandsBigPicture #RuralEngland #DiscoveryEarth #TravelOn #ExploringTheGlobe #AdventureTravel #FlashesOfDelight #ArtOfVisuals #ExploreToCreate #ExploringTheGlobe #OurPlanetDaily #MotherNature #CondeNastTraveller (at Ivinghoe Beacon National Trust Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMnieYGF0y2/?igshid=y6obxvj19ise
