the question: how do you decide which species to feature?

it honestly depends; i watch a lot of animal content so if i see something that looks interesting i file it away in my brain to research for the blog later! all recent features have been requests though. i also tend to favour species in my own location when i do non-requests (ex. the Florida black wolf) because i think our native wildlife is interesting :]
Will extinct species be in the pool of posts on this blog beyond recent extinctions (like the black wolf from the first post)? I’m a couple different paleolithic species and I’d like to see more get talked about because I think it would be really helpful for others who might not know they’re not a species from this era!
(It’s 120 percent chill if not, there’s plenty of species from this era to get the community talking about)
yes! id love to include more past extinctions; the only reason i haven't yet is because nobody has requested one yet. i do have some ideas in mind though!
fun thing about being an omnitherian (pleritherian to be specific) is that I get to hit “yes” on all of these
