When I pick up the next pre-numbered skein for my #ITW2018blanket, I tend to think, "Is this really the next color I picked?" I doubt myself. So I go to my @hi.ravelry project page to check my list and the photo and sure enough, I numbered it right and in the photo of all of them together, it looks just fine! So I add it on, still with a bit of skepticism, and as soon as I start seeing the colors playing together, tied together with the tweedy neutral color marled throughout, I think, "Oh, okay, then!" and happily carry on! I've done this with at least the last three colors, y'all. Sometimes when we look at two colors right next to one another, especially up close, our first instinct is that they won't play nice together - but if we take a step back and look at all of the colors and how they'll work as a whole, it's often a very different story! So when (if) you doubt your eye for color, try taking a step back and looking at it from a distance. Pictures can also really help with this! In fact, I used pictures to help me decide on the color sequence for this blanket so that I could compare different orders side by side. Oh and this is Shores of the Lagoon from @vyarns! https://www.instagram.com/p/Btvo6HOFr12/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=13acns4jg3d3y
