Itto shook his head, leaves and sticks that got caught in his hair falling around him. "I'm good. Trust me, if I wasn't doin' alright it'd be pretty obvious." As an Oni he was different than most. The last known living Crimson Oni of Inazuma. He'd rub the back of his head with a chuckle before looking at who he was speaking to properly.

"Sorry if I crashed your party or somethin'. I didn't mean to. Sometimes, I take a tumble, but I'm good. Hard head and all that." How his horns weren't fractured or broken would surprise most people back home but he attributed their strength to his bond with the Geo element. He'd stand up and dust himself off. Not that he minded a bit of dirt on his skin.

Itto had just finished chatting with the vendor selling dango milk, which he bought a few bottles of, because the boys liked it. So when Gorou quickly walked toward him and then placed himself in front of him, the Oni merely canted his head to the side. "Sure...?" It was more a question than a statement, but instead of continuing to look like he was a confused puppy, he'd walk. Given his size, keeping up with Gorou wasn't all that difficult.

He wasn't sure who Gorou was avoiding, not until he heard HER voice. Yae Miko was someone who was capable of making him shiver sometimes. Especially when the Kitsune was being herself and tricking him into drinking things that weren't supposed to have beans in them. Such as a specific drink some years ago. He's still not forgiven her. "Don't ya worry, pup." If needed, he'd simply pick his smaller boyfriend up and make a break for it. Since the Guuji never really left the city.

"Hey, I'm glad I wasn't on patrol so you weren't coming to an empty house. You staying for the night?" He really wanted Itto to say yes, but for the moment answering would have to wait because Gorou was straightening up enough to press his lips to Itto's and savor it for a long moment.

Itto loved when Gorou hugged him. Be it whole body or just with his arms. The Oni let out a soft laugh. Not one at full volume because he'd learned to be somewhat quieter over the years. "Hey, pup, I missed ya too." One thick arm would wrap around the smaller male, and a nose would carefully nuzzle into Gorou's hair, mindful of his ears. Those who remained with what used to be the rebel army were used to him showing up at random.

They were good for one another. Gorou really leveled him out so he wasn't nearly as hyper or hyped up as he tended to be. Or how he was in the past more like. The Oni was genuinely very fond of his smaller boyfriend. The cuddles were something he was fairly addicted to. Being able to hold Gorou was like a gift in and of itself. And it was something he'd never take for granted. "How have things been around here? Sorry I was gone for a bit. Had to set the boys straight again."

The boys in the Arataki Gang kept defending him from humans who were still prejudiced against him because he was an Oni. He didn't mind them himself. None of them attacked him with beans anymore so they'd grown to tolerate him, at least. The gang was still helping around. Getting farms back up and running and helping rebuild homes that were damaged in any skirmishes. There were places that were still too dangerous for families to return to, so they built small community buildings for the families affected to live in together.

Itto would pause and cant his head to the side at the question. Why would Hiro ask him such a thing? He knew they were buddies of course. They'd known one another for a pretty long time now. "Honestly, I dunno. It's not like I've got the pick of the litter or anything in regards to dating but I've never thought about it." He was an Oni after all, why would he think about dating?

Most people were humans not fellow Yokai so it wasn't like he could find anyone who would want to date him like that. "You're a great guy and all but I'm an Oni. People would start talking bad about you and I'd hate that." There were a lot of humans who still didn't like him. It didn't matter how much he'd helped around Inazuma. He was shunned by a number of them usually right after he finished helping them in some way.
