One piece chapter 1144...

I’m literally flipping out right now, at this point I don’t even know what to say about this series anymore. Every major episode they drop hits an absurd level of quality. But this moment is special because they animated one of my all-time favorite manga panels, and I have to say they absolutely did it justice… even more than I expected, it’s insane.

Out of all the Gorosei members, my favorite design has always been the Sandworm; for some reason I loved it from the first time I saw it. That said, Nusjuro is just ridiculous, he’s out there farming aura like a bull… or a horse in this case.

I’m planning to make a year-end top list of the best things I watched in 2025, but I can already tell you One Piece is taking the number one spot. It’s unreal how this series keeps delivering such insanely well-crafted content.

I had to finish up an unfinished Halloween piece. Uhhhhh Youmu character in goofy outfits of characters he barely knows about. Both are related to death and ghosts in some way, and I love ghosts.

And i love the Itsumade youkai a lot, snake birb of death born from the lament of the mass dead or smth. So I swear I wasn’t high (I think it’s illegal for me to be?) when I crossed Blaziken with Itsumade (since 2020 Halloween, old drawing).

oh yeah bonus. I can’t Japanese for the life of me. And the Friday is referencing to Youmu’s position and authority as Lord Friday. Idk when I’m gonna organize the lore.

The Itsumade is a yōkai in Japanese folklore. Described as an "eerie bird," it is known for its distinctive cry of "itsumade," which translates as "until when?" It is often depicted with the body of a snake and a curved beak full of sharp teeth.

A famous story tells of an illness plaguing a town in 1334. The Itsumade appeared atop the imperial palace, causing panic as it cried out "itsumade, itsumade!" It was eventually brought down by a skilled archer.
