12. いつか… (Itsuka…)

Yudai: In this album, this song is the biggest ballad piece in terms of substance and thoughts. When I listened to its demo for the first time, my initial thought was that wedding scenes, family love, and such would match the music. Realizing right then, I invited Sota, asking “Would you like to write together?” Because of the theme of the album, and of the fact that it’s finally our 5th anniversary, we wrote together about the thoughts of facing a lot of things as “Da-iCE” once again. Da-iCE of the past, Da-iCE of the present, Da-iCE of the future, through difficult times, frustrations, encounters and sad farewells, ties and vows. It is a “reality ballad” written in all honesty.

Sota: When I first listened to its demo, I was already eager to write its lyrics. I even started to write it as if I would be the one writing it really. So, when Yudai asked me to write it together, I looked over the lyrics I already wrote and modified it from the start, and then we rewrote it as a team. We discussed and wrote together smoothly better than the time when we were writing “Boku no KISEKI”. And so, It became a more memorable song for us. The Da-iCE of the past, the Da-iCE of the present, and the Da-iCE of the future are all packed here.
