"Pardon me?" Truly, the Sexta’s words were unexpected — not to mention uncalled for, if she thought so herself. Sung-Sun was well aware that each Espada possessed a line that, when crossed, would incur their wrath. Grimmjow’s boundary had become blurred and warped as of late, something that hadn’t escaped her notice. As a result, the fifty-sixth had been wary. She couldn’t recall doing anything that would have warranted such hostility.
outcharacter: OKAY
The thing about Sung-Sun is that she knows her own abilities, and the abilities of those around her. She might drop a snide comment towards Grimmjow every now and again, but she knows when to stop pushing. Battle is not something she’s ever been particularly eager for, despite the fact that she’s capable when it’s necessary. On her own, though, she doesn’t stand a chance on any arrancar ranked above a fraccion, and so she’ll keep her silence and her thoughts to herself.Â
Lately, she’s noticed that Grimmjow’s starting to fracture. His temper is shorter and more unpredictable and as a result she’s hardly said anything to him at all.Â
We all know that he’s pissed because she’s been talking to Nnoitra, but Sung-Sun doesn’t think of herself aligned with either of them. She’s never been the one to approach Nnoitra first, nor has she ever really gone out of her way to find and interact with Grimmjow. As far as she’s concerned, she hasn’t done anything with one she hasn’t done with the other. She knows both of them hate each other, and she’s careful not to mention either in the others presence when it can be avoided. The conflict is between them, and it has nothing to do with her. She senses that he’s angry, and she has no clue why because she doesn’t understand that Grimmjow sees what she considers neutral interactions with the Quinto as betrayal.
But I’m sure he’s going to make it really clear very soon |: Â
