50 Shades of Nope || Emilia & Robert
It was wholly unfair to expect her to hold up this supposed agreement she had made when she was in New York; her mind had been on other things and there was no way she had actually paid attention to what she had agreed to. If she had agreed at all... Lately, she had been certain that Michelle was leaving a few things out of their little chats, forgetting to tell her about auditions and not bothering to send her important information from David and Dan... Emilia sat in her car, setting up her sat nav to find this building while checking her lipstick in the mirror. She hated to be rushed – when things were rushed, they were done shoddily and not to her full ability which was precisely why she always wrote things down, always planned in advance and never forgot meetings.
“You agreed to it. Samantha has been looking forward to meeting you, Emilia and you can't let her down after you agreed to at least discuss her movie with her,” Michelle had told her, sounding overly important and rather bossy, if truth be told. It wasn't as though Emilia had been in the wrong; no matter what the older woman said she had messed this one up. Samantha who? What movie? According to Michelle, it was an 'as yet untitled' number that would 'push the boundaries of modern film' which both intrigued and scared Emilia and so she had agreed, based purely on that comment, though she had explained that there would be no repeats of this sort of thing. Next time, she simply wouldn't go and Michelle simply wouldn't get paid.
When she pulled up in front of the large, towering building block, Emilia raised an eyebrow. To have warranted a meeting room in a place like this, it had to be something impressive... Heading through to the foyer, Emilia smoothed down her skirt and adjusted her bag, smiling as she spoke to the receptionist. “Hi there, my name is Emilia Clarke, I'm here to speak to Samantha? I'm sorry, I don't have a last name...” The receptionist smiled, taking in her demeanour, a sly look in her eyes that Emilia didn't trust as she checked the room, 'That'll be room forty on the third floor. I'll let Mrs Taylor-Wood know you're on your way up. Enjoy...' Taylor-Wood, Emilia mused as she got into the lift. It seemed familiar, though she couldn't place her finger on it...
