Hi, I saw your comment, I'm here to clear the air. I want to say that I'm not a sexist psychopath who bashes characters who get in the way of my ship. And I REALLY don't want to be thought of in that way. I can't stress enough that the post was A JOKE. Not a funny one in your opinion, but a joke nonetheless. There will always be people who dislike me and what I do but I want you to know that I'm not the person you think I am, and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. Are we okay? I hope so :)
I never called you a 'sexist psychopath' in my comments. And as for your joke photoset, it would've gone past my radar if you had not included that panel wishing that Sarah was on Molly's morgue slab. And it would've continued to be a funny thing you made if you had left that panel out.
People on tumblr, including me, have to get used to having constructive criticism thrown out at them from time to time or there's no improvement as to what upsets people. I'm not going to back down from my comment at all or that I find that panel offensive. People will judge you based on what you put out there. And I guarantee you that the people who find something seriously wrong with what you posted are not likely to speak up like I did but will most likely put you on their ignore/block list.
There is a very small, but very decent group of fans on tumblr who very much like the supporting/guest characters (not 'minor,' but 'supporting') on BBC Sherlock and this stuff that comes across their dash, depending on their mood, is either depressing and disappointing - so they don't bother fighting the good fight - or for a person like me on a day like this, I've just had enough. We already get a good deal of Mary Morstan bashing - and she's current to Series 3. So to see Sarah being wished a corpse on a slab is going to understandably push some of my very feminist buttons.
As for us "being okay," I don't really know what that means since I don't know you at all - this just happens to be my introduction to you and you know that saying "you only have one chance to make a first impression." Deduce what you will from that but you do what you want for your blog. I doubt you really care what people think of you, especially the minority that are going to take you to task. Learn and change or don't; it really doesn't make a difference to me. This is the very rare time I'm publishing an ask because I think it's important to do so.
