They said that it was for hygiene but why is it that my doctor is the only doctor out there who thinks it's necessary, I just don't get it. So many people have had this operation and arrghh I'm just confused

Yeah, it's fine when my hair is down but it's summer and I want to have it up. I'm also worried about how it will look once it starts growing, how will it look when the bottom layer of hair is shorter than the top? But mostly I just feel sort of betrayed because I have never heard of this before. Shaving hair for spinal fusion. None of the people I talked to had to do this and I feel sort of conned lol. Whatever, it's just hair I guess.
