We are 38+3 and so far this is how the nursery looks. I'm pretty happy with it. Now trying to decide on window coverings. I just don't want to cover up these beautiful windows! Met with my new OB today (if you recall my precious OB is out of the country now for a month!) and I love him. My next appointment with him is next Wednesday. He says if I don't deliver by then we can make a plan to induce. Hallelujah! Of course I would like this to happen on its own but I'm also open to a little medical intervention. Don't judge me. 😘

I had a scare at the OB yesterday. First, the OB had a hard time finding the heart beat which she usually finds right away. She finally found it and said that she thinks he might be breach since the heat beat was so high up. I said there is no way he is breach because he is so low and I can always feel his head, sometimes it feels like his head is between my legs. Like it is painful. I have been having so much pain since he is so low. A brief talk about C-section happened. Then she measured me. I was measuring only 31 weeks. I have always measured on time. So she became concerned about low amniotic fluid, so an ultrasound was ordered. Anyways, to keep this short. Amniotic fluid was just fine and baby is HEAD down. Duh! But the most unexpected news was that his head is measuring at 37 weeks +, in the 94 percentile. No wonder I feel this pain! Everything averaging out, looks like he is measuring at 35 weeks and weighs 5 lbs 4 oz and is extremely long (they didn’t tell me how long, just that he is really long). My OB thinks I will deliver early with all these things combined. But who really knows. I am just extremely worried about vaginally delivering a baby with such a big head! Like how much is it going to grow?! I am definitely more scared now about labour! I won’t be sad if I do deliver early. I have most of the necessities for the baby (well expect for a name) so I feel ready. I feel ready to move on out of the 3rd trimester to the 4th trimester! ;)
