It’s really true what they say. That the last 2 weeks of pregnancy are the longest. And the worst. But I am trying to take it one day at time and remain hopeful that this little guy (still yet to be named) will grace us with his presence a bit early. Had an appointment yesterday and I was still only measuring at 33 weeks. So I had another ultrasound and my fluid was low again. So I had to come back this AM for another one and my fluid was fine. This baby is big. Like he is going to be 8 + maybe. I just don't understand (like my Dr) how he is totally hiding in my belly. I feel him kicking my ribs constantly which makes me want to stretch my torso out even more. My current OB is going out of the country pretty much as of now until the 26th, so I meet with my new OB on Friday. It’s a male Dr which I was a little hesitant about but my co-workers rave about him, so I think I will feel comfortable. Maybe he’ll want to help get this baby out of me. ;) My WBC is still high and I forgot to ask about it again yesterday and my Dr didn’t mention it either. I just don’t want it to affect the baby. I am secretly scared that I have a massive infection somewhere (I rationally know if I did, I would have a fever) and when my water breaks it’s all going to be pus. I know, I sound crazy.
Anyways, feeling tired still. And feeling him very low and on my bladder at all times. And still getting Braxton Hicks at night that resolve with rest. I’ll keep up with my “most days” hikes with Bramble and keep hoping our little miracle guy comes soon. <3
