Long story short I was going to make two variations of this. One ISB white and the other Imperial Navy green, but my drawing app is dumb af and ruined that plan. Anyways here ya go. Its the best bois in cool af trench coats.
The little conversation they had in my head. . .
"Im not gonna like whatever's in there, am I? " Eli asks as he watches the Chiss reach for his back pocket.
"You will most likely dislike it yes." Thrawn replies unflinching as always. He examines the datacard in question, rubbing his finger on the grooves of its design.
Eli watches the Chiss for a few more steps and notices the hint of a smirk forming at the edge of his lips. The Commander draws in a deep breath of winter air, allowing for its icy chill to burn at his lungs for a moment, before finally letting out a slow meditative breath. If Thrawn of all people couldn't hide his excitement then surely Eli was going to STRONGLY dislike this plan.
"Want to just save me the time and tell me what's inside?" Eli finally asks.
Thrawn holds out the datacard, his smirk now uncharacteristically obvious. "Don't you wish to be suprised, Commander Vanto?" He asks. His eyes are sincere, and glow with the anticipation of battle.
Eli stops in his tracks and flashes Thrawn with his trademark glare. The muscles of his jaw tighten. "Thrawn. What are you planning?"
The Grand Admiral walks 2 steps ahead of Eli before facing him. He holds the datacard out again, his demeanor returning to all seriousness. "Do you remember our friend Horatio Fig?"
Eli makes a theatrical scowl. He looks at the datacard, then at Thrawn, and back at the card again. He pinches his eyebrows before swiping the datacard from the Admiral's hand. He walks forward passing his superior and hears quick steps catching up to him. "Thank you Eli." Thrawn says, clasping his hands behind his back, returning to all business.
"Hey now I haven't said yes to anything yet." Eli quips. Thrawn continues facing, forward matching Eli's hastened pace.
The commander continues "I'll go incognito for you again on one condition."
Thrawn raises his chin up, waiting expectedly for the other's terms.
"I get to pick the name this time."
. . .
I feel like Eli HATED the name Horatio Fig. But I wonder what kind of name would Eli pick? Would it be dumber than Horatio? Or would he actually come up with something legit?
