Today's the day!
This is it! Today is the very, very last day to submit your artworks for the ITF calendar for 2016, artists!
You invested so much time into your artworks and from what we already have seen, this is visible; all the pictures are stunning.
We are so proud of you and hope you are proud of yourself too. We're now waiting for the last submissions to come in and will then decide which ones will be featured in the advent calendar.
This means there will have to be tough decisions, seeing as we love all of the artworks, but we'll try not to let you wait for news to long and announce the "winners" soon.
If you haven't already submitted your art, you have time to do so until 11:59pm UK time TODAY. Please follow this link for details about how to submit. Please also remember that we can not consider any artworks submitted after 11:59pm UK time today!
Good luck to everyone who participated and thank you for taking part!
"THANK YOU PRESENT"
Wow-we really didn't plan to do this, but you all had us in awe with the new sign ups we got in the last few days, so we decided to, contrary to what we said (sorry), extend the period of time in which you can sign up for the project!
Over the last days and after our last posts, many artists decided to take part in the project, and there were so many that we thought, maybe you all just need a bit more time?
We want to grant everyone who wants to the chance to take part in an ITF art project that will actually be "published" in some way, so we decided to extend the sign up period until this Saturday, August 15th, 11:59pm UK time.
We are so sorry that we can't extend it for more days, this would just completely destroy our organization planning.
Just to summarize the project for you in a logline style, in case you haven't heard what it's about yet:
An art project to collect art for an ITF 2016 calendar, which will then be available for purchase online. Any profits will be donated to the mental health charity MIND which has been suggested by Dom Mitchell.
If this catched your attention and you want to know more and maybe sign up, we suggest following these steps:
Check out the About and maybe the Original Post
If you've got any questions, check out our FAQ and Message us if you can't find an answer there
You decided you want to take part? Awesome! Check out the Rules and the Prompts page, then sign up with the month(s) you want to draw for here (and remember to do that before or at August 15th).
Optional, though recommendet to stay tuned in case of news: Follow our blog and/or our twitter.
If you don't want to draw something but are still hooked up and want to help, you can do so by reblogging this post, and especially by telling your artist friends about thisle-you're supporting a charity too!
Thank you so much to those who signed up already, those considering it and those reading this post in general :) We hope to hear from you soon!
LAST DAY TO SIGN UP!
Today is the last day the sign up form for the ITF calendar project is open, and you still got great chances to take part!
For some months, especially May, June and August, only few artists signed up; If you sign up for one of those, you have good chances to actually see your art in the calendar, but of course sign ups are very welcome for every month that is still available.
What will I, the artist, gain from this project if i take part?
More attention to you and your art; because it will be featured in an actual calendar with physical, printed copies, your art will be seen by every buyer of the calendar.
This could firstly result in more followers on your social media accounts and generally more attention from the fandom
Having taken part in such a project is always good for a CW or similar documents
In case of you selling other artworks via shops (e.g society6), this could also even increase the number of products you sell
Last but not least: Because the earnings that are left over after covering the printing costs will fully be donated to the charity MIND, you will also have helped a mental health charity do it's amazing work.
Please find any info you need about the project on this blog, especially on the original post, the FAQ page and the rules page. Please don't hesitate asking us questions if you can't find an answer there.
If you already know all about the project: Here is a direct link to the sign up form.
Thank you and we hope we could convince you to take part! :)
