OPM and P-Pop appreciation post! Here's some songs from the 2020s that I think should get more attention especially from Filipinos. Some of these songs are recent and some are from a few years ago. Some artists are popular and some are niche. Some are their more famous songs while others are deep cuts. Here's just some I really like, feel free to add more!

Puede Ba by Maymay Entrata feat. Viktoria - Jazzy and sexy party song that you could dance to, also the music video is just everything to me

Babala by Yeng Constantino - Another jazzy song but more just a vibe about a woman dealing with a toxic person and the rumors they spread about her

added context: "Marites" is a name often given to local town gossipers or chismosas

cw for some violence but they're looney tunes level stuff

'SSP (Saksak Sa Puso) by VXON - P-Pop song about a betrayal that leads to committing a murder/being murdered

cw for blood, graphic violence, and on-screen death, and warning for flashing lights, and fast camera movements/changes

Guillotine Drops by Bita and the Botflies - Creepy chill vibes on a rock song about a woman accused of witchcraft trying to prove her innocence

cw for implied death/execution and beheading obv

Waiting For The End To Start by the Itchy Worms - Apocalyptic edgy song full of vibes made sometime during the pandemic. It definitely sounds like it.

Wake Me Up by One Click Straight - English alternative/indie rock song with that lost kid that just wants to find himself kinda beat, and again, the vibes are good
