Fighter’s dad.

Fighter’s dad is a huge glaring question mark of a problem. It seems pretty obvious that Fighter does not want his dad to know how he feels about Tutor (he sold him as a completely transactional “I pay him to tutor me” relationship when introducing him). He either attempted to come out to his dad years ago and got slammed down hard or he knows better than to try to come out to his dad.

Fighter has -- as we saw in both episode 8 and also the episode when Fighter bugged Tutor at the cosmetics store -- female friends that he can easily call on for favors or to hang out with him. Tutor talks about this in episode two -- that he ‘talks’ to a lot of girls -- and Hwahwa implies it too when she says that she feels like they’ve never been ‘just the two of us’ and that there’s always other people involved in their relationship. Given what we’ve learned about Fighter, it seems likely that his female friends have served as a smokescreen for him over the years, to hide his sexual preferences from his father.

Worst case scenario, I would say, is that Tutor tells Hwahwa about his relationship with Fighter (as he has repeatedly wanted to do), and Hwahwa runs to either her mom (who will tell Fighter’s dad) or to his dad directly, outing Fighter’s relationship with Tutor and causing a bad backlash into the relationship, one way or another. It would be slightly less damaging for all the relationships involved if Fighter’s dad finds out another way, I think.
