Daniel presses a hand on Max’s shoulder, because he thinks he’s at least allowed to do that, because Simon had done it to him, and Christian too back in Montreal. So, it’s not like. Weird. Daniel doesn’t why it would even be in the first place. Right. Friends, teammates. It’s totally normal. Totally fucking fine. Daniel should probably know better than that, because he’s been through this before. Eight years ago. Eight years ago.
