#it's challenging

Day 2

I was tagged by @woundedsoul12!

The following is a little bit from a thing I'm doing for Writing Challenge Weekend. It's an alternate Alim Surana (from the Daveth-as-HOF verse) who never went to the Circle, and a new OC named Ettie who's a Carta dwarf. IT's a bit more than five sentences, but I'm fine with cheating.

After an awkward pause due to previous dialogue:

“Right. How about that view then?” asked Ettie. “He asked you to keep an eye on me, not annoy me. Couldn’t you do that from a distance?” “Oh, my boy, I don’t do that. I’m not hiding in the shadows when I’m involved in business on the up and up. If I’m to keep an eye on you, I’ll do it like this, right beside you in plain sight. If I’m keeping to your shadows, then you better believe you don’t ever want me coming out of them.”

I've wanted to get back into drawing for years. It used to be my favorite thing in the world and I've missed it so much.

So with the help from a friend, I'm finally doing it! Starting with the complete basics, which means doing anatomy studies for the first time ever! +getting used to using a drawing tablet, which I've never used before. I've only ever drawn on paper.

This is the results from 3-4 hours yesterday, not including the very first one however because he was not pretty 😆
