What started as a simple Connor Compendium, to sort and identify my many Connor Concepts, has now become its own canon divergent timeline ... Well, I wanted to include a lot of different Connors in the same timeline, so that meant killing a lot of them and then I had a unique storyline to work with and it occurred to me, as it has many times before, that the entire DBH timeline does not make perfect sense when all character interactions are taken into account, then the wide array of possibilities outside of gameplay turns it into its own animal, so I couldn't allow myself to simply be restricted by the cannon algorithm (which, I will state once more for the record, I found incredibly lacking at points.) To create a more grey scale story with complex character feelings and motivations, I had to change some aspects of the story, especially later down the line. Because I like the story of a Machine!Connor, struggling to understand foreign abstract concepts like freedom, empathy, and humanity, making mistakes, trying again, and all the time wondering just why is it that Hank and all these Deviants value freedom and emotionality so very highly when all it seems to do is hurt them. There's a compelling case in here that was far underutilized by the basic black and white structure of the original narrative.

I wish I would not see those edit pics of Connor with a big Bryan smile. It's creepy because that's not his smile. He doesn't need to emote more or bigger - he's already perfect.

Nicknames for the Connor Collective are purely for the sake of my current and potential partners' benefits, as well as anyone who might be browsing for third party entertainment.

With as many complaints as I have for the DBH canon story --- I am not going to focus so much on that. Moving forward- what I have said will remain, because I do want y'all to understand where I'm coming from.
