What she says: I'm fine
What she means: In Holly O'Hair's diary it says that Headmaster Grimm ruled that only one student per destiny can enroll in Ever After High, and that's why Poppy can't originally attend. However, sociologically, this makes no sense within the world of Ever After High. We can assume that in this world, children take the name (and destiny) of their "most important" storybook parent. This is why we see Apple White and Ashlynn Ella instead of Apple and Ashlynn Charming, even though both of their parents married at Prince Charming. So, in order for the Charming line to continue, at least one Prince Charming would have to marry a princess with no story to compete with the Charming legacy. This makes sense for the Croakington line as well- if Hopper and, say, Briar, for example, were destined for each other it would likely create an entirely new story, or at least destiny confusion for their kids, and we know Milton Grimm can't have either of those. So, there would have to be at least one princess without a story in order to continue that Charming line, AND we've seen in Blondie Branches Out that there are multiple unrelated Charming lines. Plus, if girls don't need to be educated to be a generic princess, what's the point of having Darling there? And another thing, the Charmings themselves break the only-one-child-per-destiny rule with Daring, Dexter, AND Darling. So what's the deal, huh? Does seeing a healthy sibling relationship remind someone that they cursed their brother and locked them in a hidden library? MILTON?!
