I wanna be friends with a psychology major for a bunch of reasons
But rn I would love to be able to call them and go "let's write a paper on public marriage proposals"
#yesterday I was at a concert where one happened#while a song titled βsay yesβ played#it was...#I know it's a me thing#but public proposals definitely are a quirky cultural phenomenon#you could do a deep dive in history and check how marriage proposals have evolved through time#or#and perhaps this is my favorite focus the study could take#the commodification of marriage proposals#more often than not you receive some sort of benefits from it#and apparently yesterday's concert had like a special pack(? where if you wanted to have a public proposal you could notify the organizers#and etc etc#because they were selling a service#and damn#(also I wanna make clear that I wasn't a fan of the artists. Tickets were given to my mother and she dragged me as her +1 so I didn't have#any context)
