I don't get it. The Yankees pitcher, Carrasco, had only 67 pitches with 41 strikeouts at the end of the 5th inning. He was pitching a great game. He had 22 pitches less than the opposing pitcher. So what does Boone do with a player who is doing his job in a spectacular way? He takes him out of the game like he usually does. Boone will leave a pitcher in the game who can't hit a barn with a boulder, but he takes Carrasco out for pitching very well. Then, in his infinite idiocy, he puts Tim Hill on the mound. With his first pitch, Hill throws a home run to Guerrero Jr. Unbelievable!! Carrasco had at least another inning if not more left in him. Why does Boone consistently punish players and take them out of the game when they're doing a great job. I don't get it. I swear that man is betting against my boys, but I digress. It's exhausting to watch Boone lose game after game by not using his pitching staff correctly. I can't imagine 2 more years with this bad decision making excuse for a manager. Not that I have an opinion 😉😁🤣🤣 Buy a clue, Boone... PLEASE!! I have faith in my boys. Despite Boone, we got to the World Series last year, and I'm hoping that we can do it again this year!! Right now, I just want my boys to win this game. I miss Joe Torre!! That was a great manager, but once again, I digress 😁
