Y'all, I seriously had to deal with a battery that had swollen so badly today it had cracked the casing of the laptop. That is not just a fire hazard because a swelling battery is liable to explode in a jet of flames. that is a HEALTH HAZARD. BECAUSE A SWOLLEN BATTERY IS LIABLE TO EXPLODE IN A JET OF FLAMES

Greetings, all! Does anyone have any expertise with setting up and maintaining a dreamwidth discussion board? I am only expecting half a dozen people to use it, but I can’t think of any other way to have discussions with a couple of Tumblr friends who want to remain anonymous. It’s for the Not Particularly Safe blog. I’m a discussion board newb, so any advice would be very helpful! 

If the advice is not to use dreamwidth but to solve the issue of having a conversation with people in another way, that would be cool too.  We’d just like to be able to squee about (for example) a trip to see Bakkhai, without clogging up the kinkmeme.
