Why can't I just have a datemate who will go to the movies and ice skating with me and let me snuggle up to them at night and will help/give me inspirations for stuff and then leave me alone to work on said stuff instead of clinging to my leg like a puppy when all I want is a platonic relationship but with a bit of hanging out and maybe snuggling which I'm still not sure about, to be honest with you.

So, I pretty much want a friend, but someone who would live with me and help motivate me to go to work and do dishes and stuff, while being totally okay with me not paying attention to them for hours on end while I read/write/sleep/eat/etc........
