A few more from today’s @goodweekendmag piece on @danielandrewsmp from Victoria’s premier photographer (haw haw). I always love architectural portraits, something about how someone interacts with a space is so interesting to me. I’d seen some other images of Dan in this spot in Parliment House, so it was interesting putting him back there this much later in his career. Frame 3 is the uncropped version of the cover shot, with cops and light taken out. I always provide options like this, as you never quite know which way the story is going to go. We shot this about a month ago, I’m so glad they still worked. I think the version here is so different; he seems so alone- but in a very different way. He was tricky to shoot, you can tell he’d be much more comfortable getting on with the job, but i’m really pleased with what we achieved.
