LOOKING  UP  ,  ALARIC’S  GAZE  SETTLES  on  a  familiar  ,  young  brunette  and  almost  immediately  ,  his  expression  sours  .  ❝  i  swear  ,  if  you  even  MENTION  the  word  slim  fast  again  ,  i  am  LEAVING  ,  elliot  .  ❞  maybe  he  was  being  a  little  dramatic  ,  but  alaric  knew  she  wouldn’t  take  offence  to  his  words  .  that  was  one  of  the  things  he  had  actually  LIKED  about  elliot  –  she  wasn’t  so  SENSITIVE  like  how  other  kids  can  be  .  her  sense  of  humour  though  (  that  she  definitely  got  from  her  parents  )  ,  not  so  much  .
