Happy #GoodNewsMonday ! I posted this on my Instagram last week and now I'm making it a thing every week! Both on here and on my blog. It gives me (and hopefully you guys) something positive to focus on to start off the week. . So here are some good bits of news (link in bio to see blog posts and full articles): . 💕 An ultra rare kingfsher in the Philippines has been photographed foe the first time! This dwarf kingfisher that's pink and orange, has eluded scientists for 130 years but biologist Miguel David De Lion found nesting sites and photographed these tinynbirds . 💕 UK greenhouse emissions fell for the 7th year in a row in 2019. We have to keep pushing to reach a zero carbon future, but at least we're headed in the right direction. . 💕 Citizen science is helping to save endangered yellow cardinals. They've been mapped across Argentina and means scientists can focus conservation efforts. Citizen scientists are often crucial in conservation efforts of many wild animal populations. . 💕 global efforts on ozone repair are helping to reverse southern jet stream damage. This had a mix of effects on the world's climate (and could be cancelled put again by co2) but shows that when we make a global effort to change things, we can reverse some damage. . Also in the blog posts are links to articles on the rise of visible mending and 6 of the coolest dinosaur fossils ever found. You can submit your own good news stories (and read others) on my Insta story! . Also this is my look today for the #isolatedwardrobechallenge. This dress I can dress down (a little) has seen my through graduation, birthdays, and just general days out. I got it second hand from @wildclothing_83 https://www.instagram.com/p/B-XZXkXggUZ/?igshid=6cllaqjxmjwl
