This is Islik [ees-lick] and she cames to Earth on accident and tries to invade! However, she soon realizes that her tactics of invasion seem more charming to humans than anything else.Â
Bringing in threats like dead animals (birds and large bugs) seems to be considered a friendly gesture as opposed to a declaration of war. Intimidated by her large prey’s unwavering affection and resilience in the face of danger, she decides to scope out neighboring homes for backup and eventually finds another ‘alien’, Mosey, who is a three-legged Scottish Fold kitten who lives down the street. Determined to save young Mosey from the perils of lazers, feathered whips, and spinning robotic death traps, Islik embarks on an adventure to find her way home along with all the other 'alien’ friends she finds!
Her story is intended to encourage body positivity, self-love, and acceptance. Islik, during her time on Earth, will help local shelter animals and spread positive images for older shelter animals as well as shelter animals born different from the normal crowd.
