the anniversary of type zero was big to hyoseop, even though he hadn’t been in the group since the beginning. it did feel a bit weird, that he wasn’t celebrating the anniversary with the members that were there when he joined. he’d gotten rather close to both parker, kai and baekhyun, and their leave definitely hurt him. he couldn’t complain too much though, he’d grown rather fond of iseul as well, even though the two hadn’t been members together for particularly long.

while neither iseul nor hyoseop had been in type zero from the beginning, hyoseop felt it should still be celebrated, so the two ordered food, along with buying alcohol, deciding on celebrating it together in their dorm. “time passes by fast, huh?” he asks, before taking a sip of his drink, he smushes his face together, the ratio of soda and alcohol not exactly equal, and the alcohol taste is quite strong. “what do you think about being in type zero? i at least, am happy you joined, i hope we’ll stay members for long, and friends too” he nods, a smile sitting on his lips.

it starts off with a small comment from @iseullgc, really. nothing too major, simply iseul telling minki that he’d make a mission out of collecting minki’s photocards once he debuts. initially, minki felt touched—it’s a sweet sentiment, although he doubts iseul’s luck would favour him at every album purchase.

another thought pop up in minki’s head though, and he said it out loud at the time without much thinking. “i don’t think i know how to take selfies for those photocards,” minki had admitted, which is why iseul decided to teach him exactly how to pose now.

minki held his phone up, switching the camera to selfie mode with his eyebrows slightly furrowed. “is it that urgent for me to learn now?” he questions, turning his head to iseul. the other boy seems 100% serious about this, which is why minki relented in the first place. he doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to saying no, particularly when it comes to iseul.

iseul is quite the character.

it's not a bad thing, merely a conclusion that came after many months of observation. touchiness ( something minki had grown used to ), impulsiveness ( another thing that minki had become accustomed to ) and spontaneous playfulness ( an endearing quality, in its own way ) are traits interwoven into his interactions with the other trainee. but the most egregious example lies within the company's instagram account, where iseul drops all his flirtatious pick-up lines for his fans to eat up.

one such post appears after a training session, the first greeting his phone provides minki when he swiped it open. minki can't help himself—the snort comes out of him before he could stop it, which would probably alert ( @iseullgc ) to something. considering their lack of distance at the moment, iseul definitely heard it, though knowing iseul's personality, he'll be ready to defend himself.

minki doesn't wait to explain, propping his phone up for the other to see, his screen showing iseul's most recent instagram post. "you really have a way with captions, iseul." his voice is soft, as usual, but there's a teasing bite to it too. "is your mind filled with such lines? how often do you use them, hm?" he jokes, meaning no harm—minki just thinks it's amusing.
