Thinking about Remy and Cygna again because last time I was thinking more like "well, I probably wouldn't do anything with them because I only use Cygna in more fantastical settings," but then I realized that there's really no reason Remy can't be extricated from low fantasy modern.
And thinking about him in the kind of casual high fantasy or scifi fantasy I generally go with for Cygna is really funny because, like, being a history nerd is part of his whole deal. He's generally (when employed) a curator or archivist who writes history texts on the side, and this is like, his hyperfocus of hyperfoci.

Remy: Oh...
Remy: Hm.
Remy: That's not that old.
Cygna:
