Prone to grumblingabout any old nonsense Jun felt a little more entitled to be grumpy today; andfor every other day from now until you started coming to see him more. It irkedhim to see you walk off with him.Sure he knew the guy and he wanted to say he trusted everyone on the team torespect him and his relationship but when it came to you he couldn’t help but letthe jealousy get the better of him.
Everyday he’d forcedhimself to believe he was being irrational and possessive but at moments likethis his mind screamed at him to go after you. Not only did he not want youspending more time with some other guy he simply missed having you around. Hewanted more than a good morning text and the occasional goodnight kiss afterhalf an hours’ worth of quality time. Not noticing he was now near growlingaloud as you waltzed off with him he decided it was high time he went and gotyou back himself; you were his partner and he was fed up of this bullshit.
“Oi ____, where’re you going? I thought wecould go get lunch, it’s been a while since we did that you know”. Hoping and praying his straightforwardapproach might evoke a little mercy in you he stayed perfectly quiet and calm;but then he saw your face flush, the way it always did when you were hidingsomething. “Jun-san I’m sorry but me and____ have plans right no-“ “I wasn’t asking you. ____ please….” Lost forwords his voice faded to a low grumble, barely more audible than a whisper “amI not enough…”
You couldn’t standthat. Jun wasn’t supposed to talk quietly like that, he was supposed to roarand make everyone within a mile of him jump. Seeing him this miserable reallymade you feel bad about leaving him out of the loop; even if it was a surprise forhim. “Of course you are. I didn’t realisehow much time I’ve been missing with you…. you see ____-kun was teaching memore about baseball. I’m not really good at it myself, but it’s important toyou so I wanted to learn. Are you mad?”
Immediately you found yourselfpulled flush against his chest, taking a second to reacquaint yourself with hisscent and remembering how amazingly safe his hugs made a person feel. If anything he was squeezingyou a little too tight but you were just as bad, tightening your arms aroundthe smallest part of his waist. “I guessI was being pretty stupid huh? Anyway why didn’t you ask me for help! From nowon I’m going to teach you everything I know. This way we still get timetogether.” His boisterous now voice echoed around the crowded halls as hedragged you in the direction of the lunch room. Flashing your friend an apologeticlook as you remembered why you never asked Jun to teach you in the first place.Still you had to admit that between his jealousy and enthusiasm he was beingpretty cute.
