I agree about death too. But I remember that the actress was announced as recurring role, so I hope to see more of Grace (oh angst, here you go!) I was also weirded out by long explanation speech of Evil Space Tooth Fairy on he roof, but maybe it’s just me.
Idk, if it’s just flashbacks to feed Graham’s and Ryan’s angst, I can really do without seeing more of Grace. She deserves better. A lot better.
And yeah, that speech was one of the more less-than-natural dialogue (or monologue) moments...

Agree about the death. I kind of knew he was going to do it right away so I wasn’t shocked. Also the gruesomeness of the monster’s killing of humans described, how the trophies are just that, set on a shelf to exist only it seems, all very Chibnell and stuff he has done before which some won’t like.
I just thought the monster was reall inconsistent in tone. After the weird round thing on the train was mostly boring and the blue-ish thing in the woods as well as the random alien warrior stepping from it was slightly on the silly side, the teeth thing seemed... out of place? Same with storage of trophies. A monster doesn’t have to be the most scary monster ever, but between the name, the cheating and the Long Evil Speech, I think it might have been better to just embrace the ridiculousness fully, instead of going for “basically a serial killer” to throw in some horror...
