It was strange, in a weird kind of way, not being able to simply go to Smooth Moves anymore. It had practically become an odd little tradition since the place opened up, especially considering their coffee was to die for, but alas whoever that Satan guy was must have had a differing opinion. Luckily, Liv still knew of a few other places she could go. She eventually decided on the one her and Kiara tended to go to after a night out, whenever they were nursing a hangover that seemed to prohibit them from walking further than a couple of blocks and the brunette was crashing at her place -- Or rather, when they used to; she doubted she’d ever get over thinking of her friend in past tense.
Unfortunately, it also seemed like half of LA had the same idea. The place was insanely busy for mid-morning on a Thursday, but thankfully she managed to grab a two-seated spot in the corner before it had gotten crazy. She’d barely been sat a few moments before all the seats were taken and she noticed someone loitering nearby, as though he was keeping his distance so as not to interrupt her even though the seat opposite was the only one left available. Under normal circumstances she would have been thankful for it, but she recognised the man, and so smiled at him instead. “Hey, I know you... You live at Sunset Tower too, right?” She questioned, pausing a moment to look around before adding, “you might as well just sit down, doesn’t look like this place is going to ease up any time soon.”
