Today (until sunset) is the 16th day of the Omer.

A small chapter - only six verses! When Israel sees the other nations humbled, they will thank G-d, because He was angry with us but He turn
Behold, God is my salvation,I will trust and not be afraid;‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;He also has become my salvation.’ ”
Isaiah 12: Sanctification
When we believe in and look for the supernatural goodness in ourselves and in others that God has personally put there, we are living into sanctification. #Isaiah12 #Sanctification #FruitoftheSpirit
Isaiah’s oracle on the Joy of Salvation says You will say on that day:“I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me,your anger turned away, and you comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and will not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and my might; he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation In…

ISAIAH S.O.A.P. ~ CHAPTER 12
Tuesday, 5/3/22
SCRIPTURE:
Therefore you will joyously draw water From the springs of salvation. ~ Isaiah 12:3
OBSERVATION:
Drawing water - a daily, even tiresome, task - for those without running water...
Brings to mind Jesus and the woman - the Samaritan woman - at the well... not just His encounter, His engagement with the "cultural" other, but the "foreign" other... the "hated" other... and to the amazement of the disciples - those closest to Him...
What tasks do I face - repeatedly - that are similar to going to the well or spring and drawing water? At work, going to and from work, around the house, running errands... (boy, this list gets long in a hurry...)
What changes do I need to make in order to "...joyously draw water..." - to quit complaining and celebrate the "springs of salvation" - Jesus's "living water" - in my life? In the opportunities to be joyful?
And water drawn isn't typically just for the person doing the drawing - so how do I - or do I - share this "water of salvation"?
APPLICATION:
Draw joyously...
Share joyously...
Be joyful...
PRAYER:
Lord Father God - I give thanks to You, Lord, for turning Your deserved anger away from me through the salvation offered through Your Son Jesus... Forgive my less than grateful and joyous attitude that focuses on me and what's not right in my sight, and allow Your Holy Spirit to keep lifting my eyes from my own feet up to You so that I can tell of Your grace and blessings... You are my salvation, Father... my strength... may I sing Your praises and song at all times... I Jesus's Name, and for Your honor and glory in all things, always...
Yours - in Him...
